NICK SHERMAN is a NEW YORK based  DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY specializing in commercial, narrative, and high-end corporate content. With nearly a decade of work in film, Nick's understanding of digital media is at an advanced level. Blending documentary with advertorial technique in a clean and minimalist way, he aims to achieve high-end production value and authenticity. As a team leader with a commitment to collaboration and hard work, he thrives on the challenge of production with an ethereal, full-framed style.
 

A lifelong student of light and sound, Nick received his diploma in Film and Fine Art from Loyola University New Orleans. Completing his studies, he traveled for a full year through India and Nepal, partnered with a number of organizations before returning home and committing to the industry.

As both Director of Photography and Camera Operator, Nick has been a proud contributor to a number of networks and brandnames including General Electric, MSNBC, National Geographic, Comedy Central, A&E, Benjamin Moore, Loreal, JC Penney, and more. His work has taken him around the world, on a wide variety of projects in the US and overseas.
